Portmoak Village Hall is a Charitable Trust, the trustees being defined by the Deeds of ownership from amongst the holders of specified posts within the local community.
It is administered and maintained by a voluntary committee of local people. The aims of the committee are:-

There is disabled access to the main hall, with ramps at both sides of the main entrance, clearance is approximately 1.2 metres at the narrowest point.
The hall has one disabled toilet off the main hallway in additional to the Ladies, Gentlemen’s toilets.
Limited car parking is available adjacent to the Hall, with room for between 10-15 cars. Use of the nearby Church car park [100yards] is allowed but should be noted that this is used by walkers and members of the community and can be busy at times.
The Main Hall is marked out with a standard sized badminton court.
The main hall is approximately 9 metres wide by 14 metres long and has a height of 4.2 metres.
Chairs and tables are available for use within the Hall and are included in any booking charges.
All necessary insurances and licences are in place, but events at which alcohol is sold require separate licences, which have to be obtained by the event organisers.
The kitchen has fitted cupboards with a double sink, an electric cooker, and a refrigerator. Kettles and limited crockery and glasses are available.
Hirers must ensure all necessary licences are in place, especially if selling alcohol, which will require a license to be obtained by the event organisers.
